Amazing…congrats! It was like Amazing Race, Dublin Nomad edition. Definitely smart planning with Jameson and mini golf at the end.

That tiger at the beginning was amazing. You seem to be a tiger whisperer.

Thanks, Jaume. You’ll just have to visit Dublin Zoo next time! They have a great African Savanna exhibit too! :)

Thanks, Jul’! We wouldn’t recommend running around like this under usual circumstances, but we had a lot of fun with the challenge!

We’d recommend picking the ones that are most interesting to you and spending more time at them, and you’ll be surprised at how much you can fit into a day, even when not rushing like crazy like we did.

You could still apply some of the same general principles to any trip though to gain the most out of your time – like planning your route carefully based on location and opening times, and planning ahead for tours (sometimes mandatory or perhaps they are just something you want to do and they may only be at set times).

There were lots of great attractions on the pass and there was something for everybody. I like interactive things so I really enjoyed the Wax Museum and Dalkey Castle. Hai really liked Dublin Zoo. They have lovely grounds there.

All the very best with your own Seattle adventure! Looking forward to reading more about it! :)

Yes, you’re completely right! I’m still astounded that they have 33 attractions on their pass in Dublin! Because I used NYC city pass and now the Seattle one and they never have more than 6 or 7 attractions there (when lots of other city attractions are not included and you wish they were!).

Good job on truly committing to your own challenge and enjoying yourself at every step.

I’m doing the same, more peacefully because there’s less on the pass but so much to see and plan in the city too! It’s going to be fun to write about it and show you some pictures.
        Thanks for following!

        Where are you heading now?
        Happy trails!

Whew! You made it. I’m exhausted for you, but smart planning putting Jameson and mini golf last. :)

I wish I’d seen more of these sights on my short stint in Dublin. If nothing else, you’ve drawn my attention to things I’ll visit when I go back. Thanks for that!

Hahaha Yes, I think those two activities went down nicely at the end! :)

With such a flying visit and a very busy one at that, you did well to see all you did during your short stay! Glad our challenge gave you some ideas for your next visit in any case. I’ll be joining you in re-visiting a lot of these places :)

I’ve never visited the An Post museum, but I’ll definitely look into it for next time. It does hold quite a significant part of our past inside it’s walls.

    Hi Jessica
What a wonderful set of videos. I enjoyed flicking through some of the clips and reminiscing of my own trip up to the “big smoke” last year.
Did you have a favorite out of the 33 spots?

      Hi Liam,
Thanks so much! There really is a lot to do in Dublin! I love interactive things so I really enjoyed the National Wax Museum and Dalkey Castle. Hai loves nature so he really liked Dublin Zoo. Of course, the Guinness Storehouse and the Old Jameson Distillery are a lot of fun. But we must say though that the An Post Museum is an underrated gem. You wouldn’t think that a post office museum would be interesting but it really is, especially as the post office played such an integral role in the 1916 Uprising and continues to be a symbol of political protest to this day.
