Taking Chuo-sen sauce to the world

Do you remember when we were on a Japanese TV program about Polestar’s Chuo-sen sauce?

Polestar is a sauce company based in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, our hometown for the past few years. The company has been in current President Kenichi Sakurai’s family for generations. Their sauces are all locally produced, creating jobs and supporting the local economy, and use the best-quality natural ingredients.

The TV show was a skit about taking one of their latest sauce creations, Chuo-sen sauce, to the world. Now we are actually doing it! Yes, we are carrying a bottle of this delicious sauce with us wherever we go on our two-year backpacking adventure.
