In this week’s round-up of our ‘Photo a day project’, we leave relatively mild-weathered Amsterdam for a chilly Berlin to start our next house-sitting assignment!
Come see how our week looked.
Photo a day project: January 21st 2014. Giant bubbles. An interesting and fun way to while away the time before our overnight train to Berlin at NEMO Science Center in Amsterdam.
Photo a day project: January 22nd 2014. Brrrrr. We were just discussing how mild the winter has been so far in the European countries we’ve visited, and then we arrived back in snow-covered Berlin. According to the weather report, this week’s top temperature will be a chilly -4°C (24.8°F). What’s the weather like in your part of the world?
Photo a day project: January 23rd 2014. Getting comfortable. Meet Bennifer Catiston, one of the two adorable cats we are pet-sitting in Berlin. Can anyone guess why the name?
Photo a day project: January 24th 2014. Sibling love-rivalry. It’s going to take every bit of our willpower not to post a cute cat picture everyday for the next three weeks! But you haven’t met big and fluffy Bungle yet so we figured you’d forgive us for two in a row. Here he and his sister Bennie pause for some affectionate grooming, before carrying on with their playful teasing. Oh, kids.
Photo a day project: January 25th 2014. Crystals. Awoke excitedly to an ever-so-light sprinkling of snow which finally gave us the opportunity to try photographing snow flakes for the first time. What do you think?
Photo a day project: January 26th 2014. Chill out room. It may be freezing in Berlin but the benefit of a cosy loft apartment is that you can look out over the stark winter wonderland in your PJ’s with a steaming cup of tea in hand.
