The month of August saw us heading into the Mongolian interior. From the Gobi Desert to the Orkhon Valley, the reds, browns, greens, and blues inspire, but there’s nothing like some gorgeous little wildflowers to add more tiny bursts of colour into the mix.
At less than a centimetre though, admiring them as well as capturing them photographically meant getting my eyes and that camera lens as close as could be. Without a dedicated macro lens on our travels, I used the reverse lens macro technique to achieve the same results.
I hope you enjoy the colours of Mongolia in August’s “The Month in Photos”.
