In this week’s round-up of our ‘photo a day project’, we continue to relish the slower pace of the gorgeous coastal town of Split, Croatia. In fact, this has probably been the longest period we’ve ever spent this close to the sea and we’re beginning to understand why so many folks make the annual summer pilgrimage.
Here’s what we got up to this week!
September 22nd 2014. Getting crafty. Squint if you don’t see it, then try remembering the tune that brought so much joy to children and adults the world over.
September 23rd 2014. Seafood. Not only does fresh squid make for great fishing bait, but it also does very well lightly battered with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. :)
September 24th 2014. Infinity pool hump day. It’s going to be a long week. Anyone want to trade?
September 25th 2014. Random shoot. Don’t ask me why Jessica’s sitting on the end of a concrete pier holding a cup of tea, but while I’ve got your attention, let me take this opportunity to announce our @Instagram Worldwide Instameet: Split edition. It’ll be a great chance get inspired, take great photos and, most importantly, make new friends. Feel free to share and invite others along. The more the merrier. :)
September 26th 2014. Catch of the day. So it appears the nets we presumed were barriers set 30 meters out to protect bathers from sea monsters, were just sardine fishing nets that are hauled in from time to time. Should we be worried about getting back in?
September 27th 2014. His and hers. Feeling a touch of ‘watercraft’ envy wandering around Split’s harbours. Anyone up for a timeshare luxury yacht?
September 28th 2014. Lookout point. Seeing as though this is our first visit to Split, we thought it would be best to scout out our Instagram #WWIM10Split walking trail. Last thing we want is to get lost while leading. ;)
